DO NOT ALLOW small children unattended on it. Lounge cushions to be stored in primary bedroom.

Outside Umbrella

NEEDS TO BE PUT DOWN/CLOSED when not in use (and especially each night) due to wind catching the umbrella and lifting it like a sail potentially causing injury and/or glass doors and/or umbrella to break. Always keep an eye on the weather.

Double Doors

To latch and lock, close outer door first (left side in the living room, right side in the kitchen) and lift handle upward, then close inner door and lift handle upward while turning the lock. If doors are not latched this way, winds will blow them open.

Laundry

There is a laundry area in the primary bedroom/bathroom area, and another laundry room on the lower floor. Please keep downstairs laundry room door open otherwise the room overheats. Moreover, dry air from the dehumidifier flows out into the downstairs laundry room. Please always leave the washer lid/door ajar so air can circulate. Please wash and dry during your stay as turnovers are extremely tight for cleaners.

AC / Heating Wall Units

They are in the two front bedrooms downstairs and upstairs there is one in the primary bedroom, one in the dining area, and one in the living room. THE AC ONLY WORKS WHEN TYHE DOORS ARE CLOSED, but upstairs you have the discretion to turn off the AC and leave the doors open. There should be a remote for each room, except the living room. Any remote operates the units. Just point at the AC/Heat unit and press the power and toggle the temp up or down.

Sliding Doors

To latch and lock, close the doors together and press latch counter clockwise. Youu must firmly press the latch until you hear a click sound, then they are securely locked.

Cottage Double Doors

To latch and lock, close left door first (left side lift handle upward, then close inner door and lift handle upward while turning he lock. If doors are not latched this way, winds may blow them open.
