Classic lakehouse in virgin woods with all of the comforts of a new home. "Tots" is located in total seclusion, miles from nowhere, yet only 15 miles from downtown Burlington, the house is wonderfully set overlooking your own private beach, in the deep woods, with its back to a huge open meadow. No cars, no people, just trees, hiking, swimming, solace and a place to getaway from everything! The lake house is newly renovated - completely rebuilt - with 2 large all-pine master bedrooms and French doors that open on to an expansive sun deck overlooking the water. The house has an island-style kitchen open to the living room with double French doors to a large covered screened in porch. The house sits atop and looks onto a private cove in Mallets Bay (Lake Champlain). Boat dock with sandy private beaches (2). Community tennis court is included with tennis rackets and games included. NO TELEVISION but we have WIFI.


Hiking: The house is located near Niquette Bay State Park. Nearby there are hiking trails that extend for miles and rise up above the lake into the deep virgin woods of Vermont.


Boating: We do not currently offer any boating services but have a dock for those who would be interested in bringing your own. That is adequate for a small fishing or outboard boat.


Swimming: The rental includes two beaches for use both are gradual and safe (no rocks), perfect for young children. Tots is not great swimming except from swim platform. Sandy beach is perfect for swimming/sandy bottom but have to walk out far to get deep (and only accessible by canoe).


Fishing: Great bass. For kids, perch and sunfish off of dock practically jump on the hook.


Unwinding: Sitting on the porch and playing board games or napping there is one of my favorite things to do in the world. The weather is perfect, hot days, cool nights with great breezes.
